Itinerary

Day 1:
Departure from Ol Pejeta and Exploration

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. After a warm welcome from your guide, you’ll set off on a scenic drive to Aberdare National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge, where you can enjoy lunch with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests. In the evening, venture out for a guided nature walk or an exciting game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and various bird species. As the day winds down, return to your lodge for dinner and relax, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

Day 2:
Full Day of Exploration in Aberdare National Park

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for a full day of exploration in Aberdare National Park. The park is home to picturesque hiking trails that lead to stunning viewpoints and hidden waterfalls, perfect for adventure seekers. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, continue your exploration and keep an eye out for the unique wildlife that calls Aberdare home, including the elusive bongo and several species of primates. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner, where you can unwind and share stories from your day of adventure.

Day 3:
Journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife at their most active. After returning to your lodge for breakfast, you can relax or participate in optional activities such as a guided nature walk or a visit to a local Maasai village. After lunch, set out for another game drive in the park, exploring different areas and spotting various wildlife. Day 4:
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a journey of about 5-6 hours. Stop for lunch along the way at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive, where you can witness the stunning landscapes and unique wildlife, including flocks of flamingos and the endangered black and white rhinos. As the sun sets over the lake, enjoy breathtaking views before returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 5:
Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

On day five, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before departing for Maasai Mara, approximately a 5-6 hour drive. Arrive in Maasai Mara for lunch at your lodge or camp, then set out for your first game drive in this world-renowned reserve. Known for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration (seasonal), Maasai Mara offers a thrilling safari experience. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6:
Full Day in Maasai Mara

Start your day with an early morning game drive to enjoy the sights and sounds of the savannah at dawn. After breakfast, you can choose to participate in optional activities like a hot air balloon ride over the stunning landscape (additional cost). After lunch at the lodge, head out for another game drive to explore the vast reserve and search for the “Big Five.” Enjoy a delightful dinner at your lodge, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 7:
Departure from Maasai Mara to Nairobi

On your final day, savor a last morning game drive in Maasai Mara, taking in the last sights of the incredible wildlife. After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, which takes approximately 5-6 hours. Stop for lunch en route and arrive in Nairobi, where you can transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Alternatively, extend your stay in Nairobi to explore more of this vibrant city.
