Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival in Samburu

Your adventure begins with your arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. From there, you’ll take a scenic flight or drive to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or tented camp and enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in the stunning surroundings. In the evening, embark on your first game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot unique wildlife, including elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species. As the sun sets, savor a traditional Kenyan dinner at your accommodation, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the wilderness.

Day 2:
Discovering Samburu National Reserve

After a hearty breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration within Samburu National Reserve. This unique landscape is home to the “Samburu Special Five”: the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve, surrounded by nature’s beauty, before continuing your game drive. Visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, where you can spot crocodiles basking in the sun and observe the diverse birdlife.
