Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival at Maasai Mara National Reserve

Start your journey by arriving at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. From there, you can choose between a domestic flight or a scenic drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours by road. Upon arrival, check into your lodge or tented camp, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in the stunning views of the savannah.

In the afternoon, gear up for your first game drive through the Maasai Mara. This is your chance to see iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, and, of course, the magnificent wildebeest. After an exciting day of exploration, return to your accommodation for dinner and unwind by the campfire under the starry African sky.

Day 2: Witnessing the Great Migration

After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive dedicated to experiencing the Great Migration. Your guide will take you to the best spots to follow the herds as they navigate the Mara River, a highlight of the migration that varies in timing each year.

As your safari comes to an end, transfer back to Nairobi, with a possible stop at the Maasai Market to pick up unique souvenirs. Arriving in Nairobi in the evening, you’ll be ready for your onward journey or departure flight, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this incredible adventure.
